The house next door offers a wonderful canvas for shadowy art. My eyes say the shadow is of the roof here. Yet imagination says that the eaves of the house shadow is instead the outstretched arm of a conductor, raising his right arm with the baton in his job as maestro. Shadows allow us to see things in an illusory way...

Hey girl, bet you thought I disappeared...been workin' out in the shop since 7:00 this mornin'...I'M POOPED!!!

One more side to paint and the outside will be finished...the flies are driving me crazy...88 degrees and humid make for perfect fly weather...OUCH!

Have the day off tomorrow so I will probably have the inside finished so I can start filling it with furniture...YIPPEE!!! When you work with raw woods it takes so long to prime them, but I love the look the primer gave it so much that I'm keepin' it...and yes I painted the old door white. It wasn't the original old paint so I felt at ease painting it. Now I have that ol'timey farm house look I wanted...time to eat and hit the easy chair, though a board would be an easy chair at this point...ha!!!

See ya(sorta) next week with more progress reports...these hugs are gonna be sweaty, better just a smooch!!!
