AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Yesterday
dreams came easily.
Today? Ah…

Indeed, you did give your blog a makeover, Gemma! But there's still that not-so-underlying purple theme, which I really like!

I love this-and I do remember! I work with children and they also remind me every day. One of them said 'I can fly when I've got my wings on' as she watched a butterfly flutter past. Another had made a rocket out of cardboard tubes. When he had finished he looked at it glumly and said'but how am I going to get in?'

I was here yesterday and came back today to write something. I love Fairies. Even though I grew up a little boiy with baseball and football, racing cars and the like, I loved Tinkerbell and the images of the make believe.
I truly believe that is what keeps me going, make believe, beacuase after all is said and done, maybe life is just that and we'll wake up under the stars.
Your Haiku reminded me of another time and I liked it.

Peace.
