A Sign for Sweet Meat

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ The Mornington Peninsula is a holiday playground.
It's the Easter weekend; the traffic from Melbourne heats up.
And holiday time delivers some rather strange travellers.
This van was spotted at Sorrento Back Beach on Westernport Bay.
It advertises the sweet attraction of outdoor buffs to some of Nature's critters.

Photo Hunt #207 ~ Sweet

Sweet meat for natives

Love the Wickedcamper photo. I saw many of them in FNQ and their gaily painted vans and words are eye-catching and funny.

Beautiful sun over the water. I'll be down at Rye for a week - lovely part of Victoria.
A happy Easter to you and yours.
Cheers.

Your photos make me want to travel to Victoria and then off to my dream trip : New Zealand.

Thanks for your insightful comments. I think I will follow your advise, Roland.

You should see mosquito season here in Louisiana. Why, I've seen a swarm lift a cat off its paws. Sorry, I was channeling Mark Twain for a second there.

I just read your comment on my list of books I have in various stages. And I have started writing one just for boys the age you mention. You can read a snippet of it here if you're of a mind :

Thanks for caring enough to write, Roland
