Shadowy Lines and Patterns

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ With all the recent rainy, cloudy days, I had to delve into the archives for shadows.

U always captured those wonderful patterns.

Do you have a bad weather downunder? I thought it's good enough to have sunbathing.

Greetings from Stockholm.

The arcs are complex, and they offset the linear shadows. The day seems to be a day to be on the veranda and in the sun. The artistry of the day is seen in the brilliance of the sun and the elegance of the shadows...

The circles of life go round and round...and don't we know! But the sun sure is shining in that shot.

It is quite windy and rainy over here, all the furniture has blown off my porch, the storms are strange this year, coming from the opposite direction than normal, I'll have to shift all my decorating to the other side of the house is it doesn't change.

The wind chimes are banging on the sides of the house, the wind is howling and me and Scratchy are cozy and dry inside...I love the sound of the rains on my metal roof, kind of a soothing sound as long as it doesn't get too violent...spring storms, you just can't trust them.

But my garden is coming along just grand, growing like crazy, as the early warm days have given them head start...oh I just live for the spring, storms or not, it's all a part of the growing new season. I'll relish each moment, cause I know what follows all too soon...I won't breathe a word of it!!!

The new shop is coming along just grand, the walls are painted black and gray and look quite elegant..now I'll fill them with old junk and bring them down a notch...that's called countrified! We'll try to be open the middle of May, but I'll post the updates and the progress...oi...my back hurts just thinkin' about it...maybe I need the power of the Vegemite...ha...KIDDING!!! Chocolate will do!

Have a great week dear friend and try not to work too hard, but do get some more great sky shots...oh and never forget the sea...hugs on the wind for my dear soul sister down under!
