AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Secret, Coded Message?

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Just a piece of corrugated perspex used as a verandah wall.
Just a little rain on the verandah floorboards.
Add a little sunlight, streaming through the perspex!
And magically reflections like tiny rainbow patterns emerge!
Somehow, it was like looking at the symbols in some ancient, secret language!
This happened on a freezing summer morning (weird in itself!) in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula.

Thank You for your kind comment. I'm still too overwhelmed by shock for normal blogging interaction.

I love this first photo. Sorry, I haven't visited lately. The past 3 days I have driven 900 miles and slept 7 hours total those days. I am exhausted, but I had to visit and say "Hello."

Have a healing weekend, Roland

You are right, it looks like some knid of wave on an oscilloscope. Very nice catch and a creative reflection.
