Oh dear friend, isn't it funny how hearts and souls intertwine far across the seas, thinking of our roses and rust, the old things we love, like old friends...

Hope you aren't working too hard this summer, dreams of our approaching Spring, has everyone nervously awaiting, as Winter isn't through ravaging us here in the states.

It's so cold here right now that my kitchen water pipes are again frozen in this old farmhouse, but I rarely worry, at least I don't have to walk outside to the pump to fetch the water...I'm a patient person just awaiting the thaw.

It looks like fun was had by all on your Australia Days event and summer's fun was around every turn...I feel it coming ever so slowly...and remind me again why I live so far North??? It's in my blood I guess!

Have a wonderful Sunday dear friend and a big ol' frosty hug from the frozen Nor'lunds...Iowa, USA!

To prepare food and dine outside is always a treat. We love to be outdoors, the meal tastes even better on a beautiful day. The grille may not be used, but the reasons that it was placed where it sits is the natural beauty of the lawn and shrubs - the grill may turn to junk, but nature's beauty is timeless...
