That is one beautiful magpie. I'd enjoy having his company too. Hope all is well.

I love the angle you took in this shot: you've made him look quite noble!

We have magpies too but I've never heard them sing. I wonder why ours are so lazy? lol

I love the mischievousness of magpies, we don't have them here, but when I lived in Colorado, they were everywhere.

I'm dreaming still of your beautiful poem of tall ships, Gemma this is beautiful...set in the dream time of your beautiful spring skies, what beautiful words to compliment ones soul...and you truly have a full one friend!

Now that we are getting all moved in to both places, I'm looking forward to visiting more, as things slow down...they will slow down right??? Yeah, as soon as the first snows fly for sure!!!

See ya sweet friend...smooch!

Beautiful magpie! What fun to have them where you live. I only see them at the zoo. :(

Good shot. This magpie looks a little different from the ones I have seen before; must be a cousin or something!

Marvelous capture of this Magpie. Love the perspective. I'm not sure I've ever heard one sing.
Hugs and blessings,

Love the rich black feathers. How nice to be serenaded by such a lovely creature.
