I love it when I haven't been around for a few days...I take a trip with you in your homeland and wander the beaches and the antique shops, people watching and bird watching, with Haiku to mellow the path and bring me closer to your soul!

Sad poems of a sad times and gay poems of better day...all a journey I gladly walk with you from far, far away...thanks to the universe for the internet, to keep souls close and familiar in heart.

Happy week dear friend!

I'm impressed! It is dove season here; they are all over the place. However, I doubt I could ever get such a photo.

I like the idea of a sign pointing both ways. Great picture. I've tried to snap pigeons before and had trouble with blurring!

I love it - a bird in sepia, especially a dove. How peaceful.

A beautiful avian friend, not so big but a peaceful wanderer stopping by. The shadow makes his being more impressive, but as always a messenger of peace...
