AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

..digression is different from progress_

the real measurement is the "inner sense" ..many thanks for sharing this..

Movement as in risking the unknown is just the definition I need. I am sadly stuck. Your poem is beautiful.

You've captured both the joy and the fear of flying, literally and metaphorically.

I like the subtle change in both!

My bad knees can attest to the risk I take ... still trying to get from point a to b .. Nice piece.

The slight movement felt like breathing. I love the image of digress and regress-- very nice.

Fabulous photo. Almost looks like a flying lesson.

Movement as risky. Yes. And no flight without it ....

dear Gemma--
we'd never move, if for brief seconds in time we were not off-balance.

Thanks for this lovely translucence.

I love to watch the movement of a bird`s wings and in my younger days, I was thrilled the first time I was in an airplane high above the fluffy clouds...now, fear has entered me of flying in an airplane.
