Bounty from Nature

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Delightful fish and chip shop at Rosebud, Mornington Peninsula

Manic Monday prompt ~ Bounty
~

If you wish to tantalise all the senses
And get a real experience of bounty
Wander into a fish and chip shop
(A good fish and chip shop)
Where the fish are many, varied and fresh
Where the array on frozen display is a delight for the eyes
And the scents of fish cooking
Slowly
(or souvlaki
or hamburgers)
Awaken hunger cravings to a desperate level
~
But while you wait
You can admire and select
A delectable fresh salad concoction
Or even succumb to the joys of
Hot potato chips
~
The choices are gifts from
The bounty of Nature
~

Unfortunately, there is nothing in the States that really mimics a GOOD fish and chips shop. There are some great coastal restaurants, but they tend to be expensive. I loved my trip to England and a taste of the real thing.

I've never had good fresh fish & chips.
(Sad but true)

I'd love to take a trip to England someday and try the real thing.

Oh yum! Now I'm hungry. My spaghetti from dinner is wearing off reading of this yummy fish and chips!
My bounty is here.

We have some halfway decent fish and chip shops here in New England but they're all darned far from here it seems and probably nowhere near as good as the ones you describe!
