Esplanade of Bent Spires

Pic collage by Gemma Wiseman ~ Pointed white "sculptures" over the new road tunnel at Safety Beach/Mount Martha marina, Mornington Peninsula. They represent masts of yachts that sail Port Phillip Bay?

OK, I really liked the symbolism of the masts in the photo - my dad was a yachtie and we had an entry in the Brisbane to Gladstone once... Oh, and he sailed in the Sydney to Hobart a few times.

And I really like the poem. I am a poet's daughter. :)

Thanks so much for your comment about my son's pool. You have put a smile on my face and made my evening. :)
